UHCW NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking a Skull Base Clinical Nurse Specialist to work with Neurosurgical consultants and MDTs, supporting patients from diagnosis to discharge, including surveillance and preoperative care to reduce hospital stays.

The role requires current NMC registration (Adult), CPD, and leadership qualities. You will deliver expert nursing care, education, and guidance within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Current NMC Professional Registration, RN adult.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Teaching and assessing qualification.
• Leadership qualification or completion of leadership course.
• Completion of the Advanced Communication Skills Training course.
• Health Assessment.
• Completion of Neurosciences course.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for own actions in line with Code of Professional Conduct.
• Point of contact for patients/carers and provide clinical care and specialist nursing advice.
• Assess health and psychological needs and plan care.
• Coordinate with other professionals to deliver programmes of care and MDT involvement.
• Provide telephone advice to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families to promote health and self-care.
• Maintain patient documentation to NMC requirements and contribute to data collection.
