Listers Group Limited is seeking a Vehicle Technician for Listers Skoda in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles in a modern workshop, working 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with competitive basic salary and bonus potential.

Join a customer-focused team and utilise state-of-the-art systems to troubleshoot issues, perform electrical and mechanical repairs, and contribute to high workshop performance and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in servicing, repairing and diagnosing vehicles.

Mansioni

• Servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles to high standards first time.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, steering, exhausts, A/C servicing.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and faults in EV/Hybrid systems.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment as required.
• Complete service paperwork to brand standards.

Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Skoda based at Masons Road in Stratford-upon-Avon. The hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We offer industry leading basic salaries & bonus and are reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset. Basic Salary up to £45,000 with OTE up to £48,000 plus benefits. As a Technician at Listers, you will be at the forefront of utilising our state of the art systems to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with all vehicles. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our customers vehicles, providing outstanding customer support, and collaborating with different departments across the business to achieve goals. Role And Responsibilities

• Our technicians are responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
• The main responsibilities would include electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
• Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles such as the use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems.
• You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
• You also will be able to complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.

About You

• We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers.
• Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.
• As a minimum you will hold or working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• As long as you can demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge and an ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, we have the training and facilities to help you make the next big step in your career.
