Job summary

SC Johnson Professional is seeking a Formulation Chemist – Skincare to lead development of skincare formulations and drive innovations on a global scale. The role focuses on concept-to-design freeze, cross‑functional collaboration, and technical leadership in scale‑up and transfer.

You will work closely with the Category Manager to optimize formulations, ensure safety and quality, and deliver consumer benefits while supporting cost savings initiatives and technical improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Cosmetic formulation development experience.
• Experience formulating skincare emulsions.
• Ability to interpret performance data for technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development projects from concept to design freeze.
• Develop skincare formulations meeting safety and quality standards.
• Conduct lab testing, analyse results and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Procurement.
• Provide technical leadership during scale‑up and manufacturing transfer.
• Maintain documentation in SAP and PLM systems.
