Job summary

SRG, based in the UK, seeks a Formulation & Regulatory Chemist to formulate skincare and personal care products while ensuring regulatory compliance across global markets. The role includes developing dossiers, PIFs and SDS sheets, and performing analytical testing to support product registrations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant industry experience and can work independently in a start-up environment, with Hybrid work options after training and full right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry or related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ industrial experience formulating skincare or personal care products.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop skincare and tropical health products.
• Conduct regulatory research across international markets and prepare dossiers, PIFs, and SDS forms.
• Carry out analytical, physiochemical testing and method development/validation.
• Verify product claims with evidence-based testing and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external test houses.
