What will I be doing?

  • Manage the provision of professional Learning and Development services to the business, focusing on employee growth, skill development, and aligning initiatives with business goals.
  • Design and deliver learning and development strategies to build a long-term skills plan.
  • Implement talent and succession management initiatives to support career progression.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and related processes.
  • Oversee the administration of all learning and development initiatives.
  • Manage the learning and development budget.
  • Define site learning priorities aligned with Safran Nacelles' objectives.
  • Manage the corporate social responsibility strategy for the site, engaging external stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery of mandatory training.
  • Facilitate future pipeline initiatives including STEM, work experience, and manufacturing events.
  • Design and deliver the corporate induction program using innovative techniques.
  • Manage skills matrices and reporting tools to ensure a competency framework for future skills.
  • Oversee the Personal Development Review process.
  • Engage with the Safran UK L&D network group.
  • Manage EN9100 processes and contracts as required.

What you need from me?

  • Degree / HND or equivalent experience.
  • CIPD or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Project management skills.
  • Understanding of HR Systems and LMS.
  • Train the Trainer qualification or willingness to complete.
  • Presentation skills and willingness to develop related qualifications.
