What will I be doing?

Manage the provision of a professional Learning and Development service to the business by developing employee growth, building critical skills, and aligning learning initiatives with business goals to meet current and future challenges.

  1. Design and deliver a range of learning and development strategies to develop a long-term skills strategy.
  2. Design and deliver effective interventions and approaches to talent and succession management to support career progression.
  3. Manage the LMS system and linked processes.
  4. Oversee the administration of all learning and development initiatives.
  5. Take full responsibility for the learning and development budget.
  6. Define the site's learning and development priorities aligned with Safran Nacelles' objectives.
  7. Manage the corporate social responsibility strategy for the site, engaging with external stakeholders.
  8. Ensure delivery of all mandatory training for the site.
  9. Facilitate Safran Nacelles' future pipeline, including STEM, work experience, career, and manufacturing events.
  10. Design and deliver the corporate induction using innovative and creative techniques.
  11. Manage skills matrices and reporting tools to ensure a competency framework for future skills.
  12. Manage the Personal Development Review process.
  13. Engage with the Safran UK L&D network group.
  14. Manage the EN9100 process.
  15. Lead benchmarking and identify best practice initiatives.
  16. Manage contracts as required.

What you need from me?
  • Degree/HND or equivalent experience
  • CIPD or equivalent (or willingness to complete)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of HR systems, including LMS
  • Train the Trainer qualification (or willingness to complete)
  • Presentation skills
