Sunderland College is seeking a dedicated Skills Development Coach for the Creative and Digital Industries to empower learners on our Sunderland campuses. You will deliver tailored coaching and workshops, helping students grow confidence, creativity, and practical industry-ready skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and adults in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to learner needs and project goals.
• Support participants in developing practical skills, confidence, and creative portfolios.
• Track and monitor learner progress, including work experience and placement records.
• Provide one-to-one coaching and pastoral support to overcome barriers to engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and partner organisations to coordinate meaningful placement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and contribute to regular reporting and evaluation.

About The Role

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to individual learner needs and project goals

• Track and monitor learner progress, including managing documentation for work experience (WEX) and placement records
• Provide one-to-one coaching and pastoral support to help participants overcome barriers to engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and partner organisations to coordinate meaningful placement opportunities
• Maintain accurate administrative records and contribute to regular reporting and evaluation activities

Qualifications

• Qualified to level 3 or above in a relevant technical area
• English and maths to a minimum of level 2
• Full clean driving license
