Skills Coach – Health & Social Care with Travel

£32,000.00 to £35,000.00 per annum, experience-dependent

Remote with extensive and frequent travel

As a Skills Coach, you will be supporting learners in gaining qualifications within the Health and Social Care sectors through effective caseload management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engagement with Employers and learners, delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Achievement of KPIs
  • Maintain a caseload of learners, delivering sector-specific training including maths, English & ICT skills alongside personal development, behaviours, and attitudes
  • Proficient in the use of electronic portfolio systems
  • Participate in all self-assessment activities
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of Apprenticeships
Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience in delivering Apprenticeship standards
  • Experience in training and assessment delivery
  • Experience in Digital Skills, Math, and English training
  • Experience teaching within educational establishments
  • Knowledge of Government funding streams
  • Willingness to travel extensively
Essential Qualifications
  • D32/33/A1/TAQA/CAVA or equivalent
  • L3 AET or equivalent
  • L2 Functional skills in math and English
  • Occupational competence in Health & Social Care (up to L5)
  • Customer Service L3
  • PGCE/Teaching qualification (Desirable)
