Royal Mencap Society in Worcester is seeking dedicated Skills Coaches to join our Mencap Training Academy on a permanent basis. The role supports learners with SEND through employability programs, including Supported Internships, with 1-1 coaching and classroom support.

You will drive learner progression in the workplace and help learners gain employability skills to achieve sustained paid employment, combining on-site support and targeted coaching in various settings.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices.
• Good knowledge of Educational and SEN sectors.
• GCSE English & Maths (A-C/9-4 or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities.

Do you have experience of working with people with a learning disability? Are you passionate about working for an organisation that drives change? Then we may have the role for you at Mencap Training Academy.You may be a Teaching Assistant or support people in the workplace.

We're seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Skills Coaches (job coaching & classroom support) to join our dynamic team in our Worcester Service on a permanent basis.In this crucial role, you'll be the driving force behind our employability programs, including Supported Internships, providing tailored support to learners with SEND.Do you want to see what we do? If so.

You will be accountable for learner progression in the workplace and achieving outcomes for the learner. You will deliver support in various ways; 1-1job coaching, working with learners to develop employability skills and embed English and Mathlearning in the workplace. You will also support learning during classroom settings. The role aims to support people to learn the skills they need to go on and achieve sustained paid employment.

What You'll Need (Essential):

• Demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices.
• A good knowledge of the Educational and SEN sectors.
• GCSE English & Maths (A-C/9-4 or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities.
