Job summary

Precision People is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established engineering firm in Leicester (LE3). The role involves reading detailed engineering drawings, MIG and TIG welding, and fabricating components from mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium to a high standard.

You will report to the Fabrication Manager and may work independently on varied projects. We offer an excellent hourly rate up to £18, day shifts only, and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to MIG and TIG weld
• Strong background in welding/milling of mild, stainless steel and aluminium
• Confident in reading technical drawings
• Skilled welder/fabricator capable of working independently

Responsibilities

• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• MIG and TIG Welding
• Welding mild and stainless steel 2mm - 20mm
• Welding aluminium
• Fabricating components to a high standard
• Reporting to the Fabrication Manager
• Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials
