Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Panel Beater for a growing family-run bodyshop in Wickford, Essex. The role covers body panel repairs, stripping and fitting, and working as part of a hands-on team to deliver high-quality results.

You'll assess damage, repair or replace panels, weld where required, and maintain a safe, tidy workshop. The position offers a salary of £40,000-£55,000 per annum, with overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Proven panel beating experience in a bodyshop.
• Strong repair skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in stripping and fitting to support repairs.
• Efficient, quality-focused work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess damage and select appropriate repair methods.
• Repair and replace damaged panels and structural components.
• Remove damaged panels, fit and weld replacement panels.
• Carry out stripping and fitting work to support repairs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete repairs to high standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop.
