Job summary

Yeo Valley Newton Abbot is seeking an Operator to join the Goods In/Goods Out team. The role is based on days from 6:00 to 18:00, on a 4 days on, 4 days off pattern, at one of our largest production sites delivering high-quality products across the UK.

You will operate a variety of equipment, maintain GMP standards, and contribute to efficient packaging and paperwork. Benefits include a non-contributory pension, healthcare cashback, and employee ownership bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required.
• Stock control and documentation experience preferred.
• Good numeracy and literacy for records and paperwork.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role with high hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and be highly engaged.
• Team player who can work unsupervised when needed.

Responsibilities

• Embrace health, safety and quality requirements.
• Pack well-known products efficiently.
• Operate a wide range of machinery (filling, packing, forming, CNC).
• Demonstrate delivery focus and complete paperwork accurately.
• Apply GMP in daily tasks.

So, what will I be doing?

We are on the lookout for an experienced Operator to join our diverse, friendly and passionate Goods In/Goods Out Team at Yeo Valley Newton Abbot. This is one of our largest production sites and offers the opportunity to play an important part in helping us to deliver our high-quality products to our customers across the UK. You will thrive in a fast-paced production environment, have a 'can-do' attitude and strong work ethic.

We are hiring for our days shift working 6:00 to 18:00 on a 4 days on days off shift pattern.

Also, you will become a co-owner at Yeo Valley, taking advantage of our benefits package that includes a non-contribution pension, co-ownership of the company that includes a yearly bonus and a healthcare cashback plan.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Embracing Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Packing of well-known products.
• Operating a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines);
• Demonstrating a commitment to delivery, leading by example; Completing paperwork accurately.
• Application of current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);
• Taking apart, cleaning and rebuilding production equipment.

Any other duties as reasonably required.
