Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic is seeking a hands-on Skilled Operative to join our Blagdon facility's operations team. You’ll help with packaging, stock movement and finished product across the site, ensuring accuracy, safety and timely supply to downstream production in a fast-paced, chilled food environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: good team working skills.
• Able to undertake manual tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication.
• Relevant work experience as a machine Operator in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work to daily targets while maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Be trained to work in core areas (Boxroom, Stores, Despatch/yard, Fridge/coldstore, Production support).
• Operate equipment and monitor quality, ensuring on-time supply to downstream production.
• Maintain stock accuracy and use handheld scanners/shop floor systems.
• Support a clean, safe working environment and comply with HACCP and hygiene protocols.
