Job summary

LAZLINA SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a Builder to join our Greater London team on a full-time, on-site basis. The role involves construction, repair, and maintenance tasks, including site preparation, foundations, walls, fixtures, and reading plans.

You will work with supervisors and fellow trades, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress. The ideal candidate has practical building skills and the ability to read drawings, with a strong emphasis on safety, physical stamina, and teamwork in UK

Qualifications

• Experience with basic construction, bricklaying, carpentry, or general trade work.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, plans, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Strong physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a site-based team.
• Previous experience in building or construction roles in the UK is highly beneficial.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in construction or a related trade is an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out construction, repair, and maintenance tasks as required.
• Preparing sites, laying foundations, building walls and structures, and installing fixtures.
• Reading and interpreting plans, measuring and cutting materials.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Coordinating with supervisors and other trades; keeping the site organized.
• Reporting progress or issues in a timely manner and adhering to schedules.
