Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a hardworking Labourer to join our on-site team in the United Kingdom. You will provide general support, assist skilled tradespeople, and help maintain a clean and safe working environment. The role involves handling materials and assisting with site tasks in a busy construction setting.

Adaptability, reliability, and physical stamina are essential. Experience is helpful but not required; CSCS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring or construction experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• CSCS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and site staff with general construction and maintenance tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organise materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare work areas and ensure sites are kept clean and tidy.
• Remove waste, debris, and unwanted materials safely.
• Assist with basic manual work, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely, where trained and authorised.
• Support deliveries and ensure materials are stored correctly.
• Assist with site preparation and clearance.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, site managers, and skilled tradespeople.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and site procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE and report any hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
