Job summary

Greencore Selby is seeking a Process Operative to maintain the SMI line and related equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and support capper changes in a fast-paced production environment.

Working 06:00–18:00 across a 3x12 hour shift pattern (Mon-Wed and Thu-Sat, alternating every 6 weeks). Starting pay £15.60 per hour, rising to £16.02 after training, with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Adherence to health and safety and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient running of the SMI and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues.
• Liaise with Area Process Leaders, Line Coordinators, Engineers and Shift Managers.
• Ensure correct glass and caps on the line.
• Assist in capper changeovers when required.
• Maintain Right First Time ethos and quality focus.
• Mentor and train new staff.
• Complete data capture.
