Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Trade Operative - Joiner in Dundee to join our Responsive team. You will work on communal areas and tenanted properties, handling joinery, door, window repairs and bathroom/kitchen replacements, mostly solo but within a team of nine.

A company van and power tools are provided to ensure you can complete tasks. The role entails carrying out construction, maintenance, and fault-fixing duties as per contract specifications, with emphasis on safety and customer

Qualifications

To ensure full compliance with CDM 2015 legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to SVQ Level 3 in a core subject or currently undertaking the qualification.
Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation.
Good communication and customer care skills.
Recent experience of undertaking a similar role.

Responsibilities

Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed.
Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed.
Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer.
