Job summary

JobMatcha Ltd is seeking a skilled Groundworker for a project in IP17 1UT, starting Monday 2 November 2026. You will join a on-site team and perform foundations, drainage and kerb works, while upholding strict safety standards.

Role requires CSCS, reliable punctuality and the ability to work both independently and in a team to meet deadlines. Competitive hourly rate and CIS payment available on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a skilled groundworker.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant CSCS card and qualifications where required.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

• Carry out general groundworks duties on site.
• Install drainage, ducting and underground services where required.
• Undertake excavation, foundations, concreting and kerbing.
• Read and follow site drawings and instructions.
• Operate relevant tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
