Job summary
Serve Talent in Ipswich is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join its engineering and manufacturing team. You will fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components from engineering drawings to exact standards, using MIG/TIG welding and workshop machinery.
The role requires independence and teamwork, strong attention to detail, and flexibility to cover tasks beyond core duties. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm; Friday 7.30am - 1.00pm; salary is negotiable with benefits including

- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct MIG/TIG welding and general metal fabrication.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components for industrial equipment.
- Operate workshop machinery and perform quality checks on assemblies.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised workshop.
