Job summary

Arriva UK Bus in Enfield is seeking skilled and experienced PSV/HGV engineers to maintain and repair our fleet. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, perform preventative maintenance and ensure work meets DVSA and safety standards.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, hands-on workshop experience, and the ability to read engineering drawings. A full UK driving licence is preferred, with opportunities for training and career development in

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Experience as PSV Engineer, HGV Technician, Bus Mechanic or related roles is essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in a workshop environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in engineering and transport environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses, PSVs, vehicles and engineering equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs, modifications and upgrades to DVSA and engineering standards.
• Support fleet reliability through fault finding and technical problem-solving.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate with workshop teams.
