Job Summary: CareerMakers are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives / Furniture Technicians for an ever-growing business in Golborne.

Responsibilities

1. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of different materials.
2. Use power tools effectively and safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
3. Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces as per project specifications.
4. Fabricate custom woodwork according to design plans.
5. Ensure all work is level and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to carpentry.
3. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
4. Experience in joinery techniques is highly desirable.
5. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Shifts:

Mon - Fri, 7am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm

Pay rate:

£27,500 per hour
