SIMPSON Ltd. in York's Dunnington area is seeking a skilled Bench Hand Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our in-house joinery workshop.

This hands-on role focuses on high-quality, bespoke cabinetry and joinery, with responsibilities reading technical drawings and working independently. You will machine, assemble and finish products using hardwoods, laminates and sheet materials, ensuring each piece meets exacting standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bench joiner or cabinetmaker.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Safe operation of workshop machinery and hand tools.
• Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

To help support the ever-increasing workload we are seeking an experienced Bench Hand Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our skilled workshop team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality, bespoke joinery.
