Job summary

Queen Mary's High School, a selective grammar school in Walsall, is seeking a Sixth Form Study Supervisor to support students during term-time. The role is 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks, with hours 08:30–16:00, Monday to Friday.

You will supervise during non-contact periods, promote independent study, provide admin support to the Sixth Form team, and contribute to welfare and pastoral care in line with school policies.

Responsibilities

• To support Sixth Form students in developing effective independent study habits and academic self-discipline.
• To supervise students during non-contact periods, ensuring a safe, purposeful and productive learning environment.
• To maintain the high standards of conduct, attendance and behaviour expected of Sixth Form students.
• To provide administrative support to the Sixth Form team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sixth Form Centre.
• To support the pastoral, academic and welfare needs of Sixth Form students in line with the school's policies and procedures.
