Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a proactive Sixth Form Administrator to provide essential administrative support within High Pavement Sixth Form, located in the heart of Nottingham. The role involves handling student enquiries, coordinating events (up to 8 per year) and supporting senior administration.

You will work with students, teachers and parents, demonstrating accuracy, excellent organisation, and a positive, collaborative approach to care for the campus community.

Qualifications

  • As our Sixth Form Administrator you will have experience of working in a busy office with proven excellent personal, administrative, and organisational skills.
  • You will plan and prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines using initiative.
  • You will demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • You will have strong communication and customer service skills to work with students, teachers, parents and stakeholders.
  • You will assist with student enquiries and support events, including some evening activities (max 8 per year).

Responsibilities

What you'll do

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator to provide essential support within our thriving Sixth Form. High Pavement Sixth Form is part of Nottingham College, and our campus is located in the heart of the City Centre. We offer GCSE’s and A Levels in more than 25 subjects for 14–18 year olds.

Who we're looking for

As our Sixth Form Administrator you will have experience of working in a busy office with proven excellent personal, administrative, and organisational skills. You will:

  • Plan and prioritise own workload, meet and set deadlines using initiative
  • Demonstrate accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Have good communication and excellent customer service skills to work effectively with students, teachers, management, parents and other stakeholders
  • Help with student enquiries and provide support for events within the Sixth Form that may involve some evening events (max 8 per year)
  • Work cooperatively with the Sixth Form Senior Faculty Administrator and Senior Management.
