Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is recruiting a Buyer to run sourcing activity, manage purchase orders and support supplier engagement across siteworks, civils and operations. The role reports to the Procurement Manager and supports commercial strategies for a high-value portfolio.

Based in Manchester or Warrington, this hybrid role involves end-to-end procurement, supplier onboarding, category strategies and governance to enable large-scale project delivery and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within civils, siteworks or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience supporting siteworks delivery and operational procurement.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience running competitive tenders and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and category activity across siteworks, civils and operations spend areas.
• Run end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs/RFPs, evaluations, negotiation preparation, contract placement and supplier onboarding.
• Support the development of the supply base identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and supplier optimisation.
• Maintain governance, compliance and documentation throughout the procurement lifecycle.
