Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Ltd is recruiting a Buyer to run sourcing activity, manage purchase orders and support supplier engagement across siteworks, civils and operations. Hybrid working in Warrington (or Manchester) with travel as needed, reporting to the Procurement Manager.

You will develop commercial strategies, deliver procurement activity and help build a scalable supplier base for a growing, engineering-led programme in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within civils, siteworks or large-scale construction projects.
• Exposure to regulated or engineering-led sectors is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness with tendering and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs/RFPs, evaluations, and supplier onboarding.
• Support development of the supply base with cost and delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with Programme Delivery, Engineering and Operations to capture requirements.
• Implement category strategies to drive value for money and risk management.
