Job description

Job Title: Site Training Validator

As a Site Training Validator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of operational training against core priority areas for the Dungannon site. You will provide proactive, effective, engaging, and professional training services to the site and ensure audit-ready status.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Follow and complete weekly plans set out by the line manager, prioritising H&S high-risk activities and CCPs.
  2. Create observation assessments and contribute to a central bank of materials used across multiple sites.
  3. Validate factory training processes, SOPs, work instructions, etc., delivered by operational trainers and technical teams using observation, questioning techniques, and coaching.
  4. Update the LMS daily.
  5. Ensure all training evidence/resources are completed correctly, signed, and dated to support due diligence.
  6. Communicate performance and behavioural concerns following validation with the team member and their line manager.
  7. Advise on the creation of Job Specific SOPs to ensure clarity for training purposes.
  8. Support audits when requested.
  9. Assist with welcome and induction processes as required.
  10. Raise concerns about inaccuracies in SOPs/Work Instructions to SMEs and relevant stakeholders for corrective actions.
  11. Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure operational changes are reported appropriately.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Ability to conduct focused observations.
  • Ability to apply appropriate questioning techniques to assess knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to create documents for structuring and recording training assessments.
  • Ability to coach effectively.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence to address issues of poor behaviour and performance, including escalation to managers.
