Job summary

Randstad CPE is hiring a vigilant Traffic Marshall / Gateman for an ongoing project in Maidstone, Kent. The role starts Monday, 26th October 2026, with 9 paid hours per day and a pay rate between £15.50 and £17 per hour, depending on tickets and structure.

You will manage site access, log deliveries, and guide vehicles to keep workers and the public safe. Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card with CSCS, wear full PPE, and have right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Banksman with CSCS logo).
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Full PPE: high-vis jacket & trousers, steel toe-cap boots, hard hat, gloves.

Responsibilities

• Managing the site entrance, controlling vehicle access, logging deliveries and visitors.
• Safely guiding construction vehicles and plant machinery with clear hand signals.
• Ensuring public footpaths, highways, and site gates are safe and hazard-free.
• Enforcing site traffic management plans and following health & safety protocols.
• Assisting with light site duties and gate keeping during quieter periods.
