Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Traffic Marshall in Letchworth to safely direct site traffic, manage access, and uphold pedestrian safety. The role requires a valid CSCS Card and a Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket, with 45 hours per week on offer.

You will work under CIS terms, wearing full PPE, and coordinating with site management to maintain smooth operations and clear communications using standard signals.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is required.
• Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman Ticket.
• Full PPE (high-vis vest/trousers, hard hat, steel toe-cap boots)
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Right to work in the UK under CIS payment terms

Responsibilities

• Direct site traffic safely for vehicles and heavy plant.
• Maintain pedestrian safety and separation from moving traffic.
• Control access at the site entrance gate and sign in deliveries.
• Guide drivers with hand signals and radios.
• Ensure drivers follow safety rules and wear PPE on arrival.
• Keep entrance area clean and support site management during quiet periods
