Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking a Traffic Marshall (Gateman) to manage vehicle movements on a busy construction site in the Doncaster area. You will direct traffic, control site access and coordinate with drivers and site operatives to ensure safe operations.

Applicants must hold a CSCS card, a Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman certificate, and have the right to work in the UK, with prior experience and references. PPE provided on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman certificate required.
• Right to Work in the UK must be demonstrated.
• Previous traffic marshal or vehicle banksman experience preferred.
• References available on request.
• PPE compliance required on site.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles and plant equipment safely around the site.
• Maintain site access control, logging in/out vehicles and visitors.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are guided onto/off-site safely.
• Coordinate with site operatives and delivery drivers.
• Monitor traffic flow to prevent congestion and accidents.
• Conduct basic security checks and prevent unauthorised access.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep gate and surrounding area clean and hazard-free.
