Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a hands-on site-based technician for rail, surveying or civil engineering projects in London. You will install, configure and maintain equipment at various locations, with work across historic and major civil engineering sites.

The role involves nights and weekends as required, overtime paid, and requires a full UK driving license and CSCS or ECS card eligibility. You should be comfortable with Word and Excel and able to work independently with good time management.

Qualifications

• The right candidate will be motivated and hardworking ideally with previous experience in the construction, electrical or rail industries.
• Comfortable working nights and weekends when required (Overtime paid)
• Comfortable using IT packages such as Word, Excel.
• Good time keeping and task management and ability to work on own initiative.
• Full UK driving license REQUIRED
• Qualify for either a CSCS or ECS card

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of equipment at given locations.
• Work across a range of environments from historic London buildings to civil engineering sites; mixture of site and some office duties.
