Job summary

East West Connect Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead passive fire projects, with emphasis on fire door installations in social housing. You will coordinate daily site activities, support installers and subcontractors, and perform surveys and inspections in occupied properties.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a hands‑on supervisory role supporting the delivery of passive fire projects, particularly fire door installations and associated passive fire works. The Passive Fire Site Supervisor will coordinate site activities, support installers and subcontractors, carry out surveys and inspections, deliver site briefings, maintain compliance records and support quality handovers. The successful candidate will ideally come from a carpentry or fire door installation background and have practical knowledge of social housing, occupied properties, passive fire compliance and customer care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • SSSTS.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • CSCS Card appropriate to the role.
  • Carpentry background.
  • Certified fire door installation experience.
  • Understanding of passive fire protection principles.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and fire safety requirements.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Experience using Joblogic or similar digital reporting systems.
  • Understanding of Golden Thread requirements and evidence collection.
Essential
  • Proven carpentry experience.
  • Experience installing certified fire doors.
  • Experience supervising installers or subcontractors.
  • Ability to carry out fire door surveys, condition assessments and quality inspections.
