Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee MEICA and security project works in the South East alongside the Site Manager. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with paid hourly rate and overtime.

Travel time is paid door to door; a company van and fuel card are provided. You will supervise Security, Civil and electrical installations in line with BS7671 and Bridges’ safety rules, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to

Qualifications

• Essential supervision experience on MEICA or security projects.
• CSCS/ECS gold card is mandatory.
• SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications are required.
• Experience in water/heavy industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise Security, Civil & electrical installations per BS7671 and Bridges standards.
• Ensure installations meet quality plans and inspection/test requirements.
• Promote STAR dynamic risk assessment and halt work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Coach and mentor site staff including electricians, apprentices and mates.
• Represent Bridges positively to peers, staff, customers and clients.
• Support health and wellbeing initiatives and uphold Bridges values.

The Role

This is a permanent job role.

Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid.

You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.

Company van provided, with fuel card issued.

• To be responsible for supervising Security, Civil & electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
• Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
• To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise
• To coach and mentor Site staff, including Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
• Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
• Promote positive health and well-being amongst their peer
• To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation

Requirements


Essential:

• CSCS/ECS gold card (essential)
• SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
• Experience as an Site Supervisor, managing and overseeing MEICA or security projects
• Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
• Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
• Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment)
• Will need to pass BPSS screening
