Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited in Kidlington is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead local operational teams delivering mains laying and new services to developers. You will ensure work is carried out safely, on time and to client expectations, with leadership of day-to-day activities across field teams.

Qualifications

• NRWSA at supervisory level.
• Health & Safety qualification would be an advantage.
• Deep Excavation knowledge and experience.
• Good management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Proficient IT skills, including Excel and Word.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Have operational supervisory responsibility for a designated group of Developer Services teams, and their daily activities
• Organise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages and absence management
• Manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant
• Ensure accurate information is captured of works undertaken, including photographs and as laids
• Visit teams at local site level – reviewing progress and performance and ensuring standards are adhered to
• Carry out team briefings with teams on a monthly basis; coaching and developing operational teams to reach their potential
• Complete Team Inspections ensuring a high level of Compliance with a real focus on quality and right first-time operational delivery
• Be a Health & Safety Representative; undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health and safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur
