Job summary

FCC Environment seek a Supervisor to lead and supervise the site team, coordinating resources to deliver an efficient service. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, policies and waste management legislation while minimising environmental impact.

This full-time role involves managing day-to-day activities, achieving targets and KPIs, and maintaining service quality. The role includes site audits, staff management and coordinating training and communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising or managing a team.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable.
• Ability to conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site operations comply with health and safety standards, policies and legislation.
• Supervise and lead the site team, manage resources and coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Meet targets and KPIs while maintaining high service standards.
• Conduct daily and weekly audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure environmental impact is minimised and procedures followed.
• Manage staff timesheets, holidays, sickness and absence records.
• Deliver staff communications, meetings and training.
• Ensure subcontractors are trained and competent.
