Job summary

Forward Assist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor for industrial storage projects in the United Kingdom. You will oversee safety, compliance and quality from mobilisation to completion, including racking installs, site inductions and daily safety inspections.

You will coordinate labour and logistics, liaise with clients and principal contractors, and ensure documentation and reporting are meticulous. Strong leadership and civil/structural awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of industrial storage systems.
• Experience leading site teams.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day health and safety and RAMS compliance.
• Lead project management from mobilisation to completion and monitor progress.
• Supervise racking, storage systems and site installations per drawings.
• Coordinate labour, materials and plant and manage site records.
• Conduct quality audits and maintain photographic records.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and welfare and security.
• Act as primary site contact and communicate progress in writing.
• Complete site diaries and handover documentation.
