Job summary

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a PFI Supervisor in Wrexham for one of our clients. The role supports ex-military personnel and a broader candidate pool.

You will lead site facilities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage contracts and budgets, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on team development and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering operational targets in a demanding environment and managing budgets.
• Proven line management experience including coaching and developing teams.

PFI Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a PFI Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing existing and future operational facilities and supporting the development of new opportunities.
• Ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Implementing and promoting health & safety and environmental policies. Maintaining strong relationships with regulators, customers and local stakeholders. Maximising recycling performance and ensuring operational targets are achieved.
• Managing contracts and customer relationships. Monitoring operational costs and contributing to budgets and forecasts.
• Overseeing site maintenance activities and minimising equipment downtime.
• Leading, developing and motivating site teams to achieve business objectives.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, ideally within a business or environmental discipline.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience delivering operational targets in a demanding environment. Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Proven line management experience, including coaching and developing teams.
• Operational and contract management experience within a regulated industry. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong IT and numerical skills with the ability to analyse and use management information.
• A confident leader who can inspire teams and drive high standards. Commercial awareness and a results-focused approach.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Waste, recycling or resource management experience would be advantageous.
