Job summary

FCC Environment is recruiting for a PFI Supervisor at Bryn Lane PFI, Wrexham. You will oversee HRCs, MBT, MRF, TS and IVC operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship while driving efficiency and service excellence across the site.

The role is 40 hours per week, full-time, with a competitive salary (£32,454 - £40,568 p.a.) and a benefits package including leave, life insurance, discretionary bonus, training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, ideally within a business or environmental discipline.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience delivering operational targets in a demanding environment.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Managing existing and future operational facilities and supporting the development of new opportunities.
• Ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Implementing and promoting Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
• Maintaining strong relationships with regulators, customers and local stakeholders.
• Maximising recycling performance and ensuring operational targets are achieved.
• Managing contracts and customer relationships.
• Monitoring operational costs and contributing to budgets and forecasts.
• Overseeing site maintenance activities and minimising equipment downtime.
• Leading, developing and motivating site teams to achieve business objectives.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

As a PFI Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will ensure that the HRCs, MBT, MRF, TS and IVC are operated in line with regulatory standards, good operational practice and all relevant company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for promoting safe working practices, environmental compliance and operational excellence across the site.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
