Vacancy Summary

Operations Site Supervisor

Key Question

Do you have operational experience of recycling facilities or similar processing sites, including at supervisor level?

Role Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, supervising the daily site operations to ensure compliance.
• Ensuring efficient deployment of staff and resources.
• Collaborating with team members to provide excellent service to clients and customers.
• Supervising personnel and fixed plant, monitoring quality, and implementing process improvements.
• Managing staff working hours for payroll, maintaining budget control, and ordering equipment and resources.
• Ensuring all activities comply with SUEZ’s policies, procedures, and health & safety legislation.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary up to £29,985 plus 3% bonus, company vehicle, pension, and retail/travel/insurance discounts.

About the Role

Candidate Requirements

Skills: Passion for recycling, strong communication skills, supervisory experience, and team development. Additional desirable qualifications include:

• IOSH or similar Health and Safety qualification (preferable or ability to attain within 12 months).
• Knowledge of plant equipment (training provided).
