As a Domestic Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Soft FM staff to provide efficient and effective facilities services across all wards and departments within CHoICE-operated sites, supporting the delivery of excellent patient care and ensuring the service responds to operational demands.

We provide a variety of services, including Domestic Services across South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust sites. Join our friendly, organized, and positive working environment by applying for the role of Domestic Supervisor.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Managing Soft FM staff to ensure efficient service delivery across CHoICE sites, supporting patient care, and responding to operational needs.
  • Supervising and prioritizing work, directing staff to optimize resource use.
  • Collaborating with Facilities Management, clinical site managers, and out-of-hours teams to prioritize operational requirements.
  • Working a rotary shift pattern covering 7 days a week from 0600 to 2200 hours.
  • Assisting department heads in managing staff duties and performance within Soft FM.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of Soft FM services.
  • Supervising service staff, ensuring proper training, and aligning services with customer needs.

Shift Pattern

Working hours are Monday to Sunday, on a 5-day roster between 0600 and 2200 hours.
