Job summary

CR1 Group Limited is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee refurbishment works at a busy distribution centre. The role involves coordinating site teams, managing fire doors, alarms, and passive fire protection, and delivering the programme on time.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CSCS card, SSSTS qualification, and proven supervisory experience in refurbishment projects, with strong communication and organisational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• SSSTS qualification is a minimum requirement.
• Experience supervising refurbishment projects.
• Experience in fire door, fire alarm, or passive fire protection works is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple fronts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site teams carrying out fire protection works.
• Ensure operatives remain productive and focused on programme delivery.
• Monitor the quality and progress of all works on site.
• Liaise daily with the Main Contractor's Project Manager.
• Provide regular progress updates to your Line Manager.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Assist in resolving site issues and maintaining programme deadlines.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Freelance Site Supervisor Required

Location: Distribution Centre Project

Duration: 5 Weeks (with further work available for the right candidate)

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Flexible 8.00am - 5.00pm (some days 5.00am)

Pay: Negotiable

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee a refurbishment project at a busy distribution centre. The works will include the installation of fire doors, fire alarms, and fire stopping, and we require a proactive individual who can effectively manage site operations and drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site teams carrying out fire protection works.
• Ensure operatives remain productive and focused on programme delivery.
• Monitor the quality and progress of all works on site.
• Liaise daily with the Main Contractor's Project Manager.
• Provide regular progress updates to your Line Manager.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Assist in resolving site issues and maintaining programme deadlines.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
