Job summary

Carrington West has partnered with an established civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Supervisor for a long-term water civils programme across Sussex and Kent. The role starts in September/October and offers continuity across multiple packages within 2027.

You will manage site teams and subcontractors, drive daily works to programme, supervise groundworks and RC works, ensure safety and RAMS compliance, maintain quality, and report progress to Site Managers and Engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong civils / groundworks experience.
• Previous Site Supervisor experience
• Water or utilities experience - highly desirable
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, SHEQ and quality requirements
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• CSCS

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating site teams and subcontractors

• Supervising groundworks, excavations, RC and associated civils
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS

Site Supervisor - Water Civils Long-Term Contract Sussex / Kent - September/October Start - Long-Term Programme - CIS

Looking for your next contract but don't want to be looking again in three months?

Carrington West are working with an established civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of water infrastructure packages across Sussex and Kent, and we're looking for experienced Site Supervisors to join the programme from September/ October.

This isn't about filling a short-term gap. There are multiple packages with work programmed throughout 2027, giving good contractors the opportunity for genuine continuity.

Why would you consider it? If you're a contractor, you want to know three things: Is the work there? Is the project worth joining? And is there somewhere to go afterwards?

With this contract the answer is yes. You'll be joining an established delivery team working across a wider programme of water civils, with the opportunity to build continuity across multiple packages rather than relying on a single short assignment.
