Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor in Cranfield to oversee day-to-day security operations on-site. You will lead the security team, coordinate shifts, and ensure high standards of service, compliance, and client satisfaction.

You will coach staff, maintain professional appearance, and address issues proactively while ensuring all licensing, reporting, and safety procedures are followed. This role offers growth within a global security company.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• 5+ years security experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driving licence.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviours of all security personnel, taking remedial action as appropriate and in line with company policy and procedures.
• Prepare assignment instructions and keep site documentation up to date.
• Ensure all incidents are reported in line with customer and company policy and procedures.
• Plan, develop and deliver staff training, including routine duties and emergency procedures.
• Monitor faults with security equipment and report them correctly.
• Be conversant with Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems and maintain effective monitoring and reporting.
• Assist the Site Manager with reasonable requests.

Acting as the central point of contact during your shift, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the on-site security team, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, performance, and compliance are maintained at all times. This is a key role that helps build strong client relationships while promoting a safe, secure, and professional environment. As Site Supervisor, you will manage staffing levels, coordinate rotas, monitor team performance, and ensure all officers are fully trained and hold the necessary licences. You will provide regular coaching and support to team members, maintain high standards of professionalism and appearance, and proactively address operational issues as they arise. • Being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained
• Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request
