Job summary

McDermotts is recruiting a Foreman/Supervisor to lead challenging civil groundworks and commercial foundations on projects in the Birmingham, B46 area. You will supervise on-site teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work progresses to programme while maintaining quality and site safety.

The role is based on site with standard hours from 7:30 to 16:30. To be considered you must have five years of site experience, a CSCS-card through an affiliated scheme (CPCS or NPORS) with the CSCS

Qualifications

• Five years of site experience in civil engineering and groundworks.
• Valid SMSTS certificate and Gold Card are required.
• First Aid certification is mandatory.
• CSCS-affiliated partner scheme (e.g. CPCS, NPORS) with a visible CSCS logo.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site teams on commercial foundations and general groundworks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and site procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality.

• Gold Card
• First Aid

You must have a minimum of five years site experience and a valid / relevant competency card issued by a CSCS affiliated partner scheme (e.g. CPCS, NPORS), NRSWA tickets. The CSCS logo must be visible on the card.

You will need your own transport.

All other training relevant to the role will be provided along with PPE.

Site working hours 7:30-16:30
