Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Contracts Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs and void works in tenanted social housing. You will supervise tradespeople, ensure works are safe, on time and within budget, and collaborate with the Contracts Manager to deliver quality service to residents.

The role requires experience in social housing, a valid SSSTS/SMSTS, and strong organisational and IT skills. A full UK driving licence and flexible hours are essential. DBS check applies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in occupied social housing properties, ideally covering responsive repairs and voids.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Good knowledge of health and safety procedures and relevant legislation.
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
• A proactive approach, with experience supervising people; first-line management experience is desirable.
• A trade background and three-day HSE First Aid qualification are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility regarding working hours.

Location: Basingstoke office, with site visits across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas

Hours: Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week

The Opportunity
