Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland seeks an experienced Sub Agent for the Fanellan HVDC Project in Inverness, Scotland. You will be a key member of the site team during pre-construction and project delivery phases. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and managing resources efficiently. Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in Engineering, CSCS Level qualifications, and SSSTS certification. Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent required.
• CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
• SSSTS Certification mandatory.
• Previous experience and performance at Section Engineer level is vital.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Mentor and manage engineers for engineering control.
• Maintain relationships with staff and supply chain.
• Adopt and promote cost-conscious attitudes.
• Support in cost management and programme production.
• Communicate with commercial staff for record keeping.
• Utilize BIM technologies in accordance with project plan.
• Collaborate with foreman for resource preparation.
• Assist in procurement and contract management.
• Review performance and training needs of staff.
