Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is working with a respected, fast-growing organisation to recruit a Site Services Engineer for a Deeside, Cheshire location. This full-time, permanent role offers circa £43,000+ DOE and focuses on maintaining building services, safety, and reliability across various equipment.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on lighting, power, dock levellers, and refrigeration, diagnose faults quickly, and support daily site operations with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Completed electrical trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years’ practical industry experience.
• NC or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skill base with proven fault‑finding ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, “get the job done” approach.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of site equipment, including lighting, small power, dock levellers, and refrigeration plant.
• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring safe and compliant repair work.
• Support the smooth running of site operations by responding to daily engineering needs.
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to deliver a reliable and efficient service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and site infrastructure.
