Job summary

Hunter Selection is looking for a Site Services Engineer in Deeside for a full-time, permanent role with a salary around £43,000+ DOE. Benefits include discounted retail/restaurants, 33 days holiday, onsite facilities, long-service awards, and more.

The role covers maintenance across site equipment, fault diagnosis, and supporting daily site operations with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years' practical industry experience.
• NC or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, "get the job done" approach.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment, including lighting, small power, dock levellers, and refrigeration plant.
• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring safe and compliant repair work.
• Support the smooth running of site operations by responding to daily engineering needs.
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to deliver a reliable and efficient service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and site infrastructure.
