Job summary

Samworth Brothers are seeking a Site Services Engineer to maintain and optimise essential site services and utilities across our manufacturing sites in the UK. You will carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency to support production requirements.

Key duties include PPM, fault diagnosis, boiler and steam system upkeep, and accurate CMMS records. Strong collaboration with engineering and operations is essential, along with adherence to HSE

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Experience operating and maintaining boiler systems.
• Experience working with steam systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections on site services equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes where possible.
• Maintain boilers, steam systems and other utility plant across the site.
• Record maintenance activities and inspections using the CMMS system.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement to enhance site reliability.
• Ensure equipment complies with legislative and HSE requirements.
