Qualifications

• Experience in site services, facilities maintenance, building maintenance or multi‑skilled engineering roles.
• Possesses an 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• Good electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with minor plumbing and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Complete general electrical maintenance and minor electrical works.
• Undertake minor plumbing and building maintenance.
• Carry out installations and repairs across the site.
• Support with soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings and general site improvements.
• Respond to day‑to‑day maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Help ensure the site remains safe, functional and operational at all times.
• Work closely with the existing Site Engineering team and wider site personnel.
• Support contractors and external suppliers where required.
• Identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance wherever possible.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant legislation and company procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to join an established engineering team at their site near Reading.

This is a varied, hands‑on site services and facilities maintenance role, responsible for keeping the site safe, operational and well maintained across all aspects of the day‑to‑day environment.

You’ll work alongside other engineers providing additional support across electrical, plumbing, installations, general maintenance and other site services requirements.

The Role

As a Site Services Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Completing general electrical maintenance and minor electrical works.
• Undertaking minor plumbing and building maintenance.
• Carrying out installations and repairs across the site.

You’ll Ideally Have

• Previous experience in site services, facilities maintenance, building maintenance or a multi-skilled engineering role.
• A recognised 18th Edition qualification.
• Good electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with minor plumbing, installations and general building maintenance.
• A practical approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a small engineering team.
• A flexible approach to working hours and the willingness to work weekends on a rota basis.
